Top o' the mornin' to ya!

It's time to get ready to celebrate St. Patrick's Day!... or at least begin your decorating.
February's craft night,

{February 20, 2009 6:00-8:00p.m.}

is a great way to help you get started.
If you are interested, please R.S.V.P to:
on or before February 11, 2009.
Take home kits and finished products are available for an additional cost.
Here's what's on the list for making:
#1. LUCKY wood letters $20.00

These are solid wood letters, each painted a different color. The edges are sanded for that antiqued look. The letters are then sealed with modpodge. The "U", and "Y" have glitter sprinkled over the modpodge. The "K" has festive scrapbook paper over it, with sanded edges, then glitter sprinkled over the top. When set up the max. height is 9" and they span a distance of about 30". A great decoration to have in an entry way, entertainment center, or on the counter.

#2. March blocks $15.00

These are solid wood blocks that measure approx. 4.5x4.5" each. They are painted, alternately, light green and dark green. The wood letters are painted Antique White, then glued to the front of the blocks. Every piece is antiqued on the edges and then a Brown antiquing paint is applied. The "r" and "h" block have small shamrocks to add a little St. Patty's touch!

#3. LUCK wood blocks $13.00

These various sized wood blocks are painted green, sanded and antiqued using stain. White vinyl letters are then placed on them that reads: LUCK. They measure approx. 3.5" in width and vary in height from 6"(L) to 2"(C). They span a length of 16" when set up.

#4. Lucky Mugs $6.00 ea. (4 for $20.00)

These 24 oz glass mugs have green vinyl applied to them that reads: "Lucky". They are great to have for your anual St. Patrick's Day meal. For those of you who do not drink, I like to call them "Rootbeer mugs". This is probably the easiest craft to make offered this night.

January craft night results

The craft night turned out great! Everyone worked so hard. Thank you all who came. There were several new faces tonight, I love to have new faces mixed in with the regular faces! There was even a surprise guest...a goat. It was quite fun to see a baby goat. Not something you would expect to see. (Thanks DayNa) Everyone had a great time (at least I hope) and got their crafts done or 90% and took the rest home.

Thanks again to all who participated.

The results of the drawing are:

Small Love Blocks: Paul
Hugs Kisses shelf sitters: Ann
Valentine Coasters: Hailey

I hope you three enjoy your gift!
